Yes, because it works well and it unzips what it has to. I am trying to unzip an iso file in order to mount it and it did, excep that the iso file was wrong so I have to look for another one.

Windows Yes, Linux No. I tried rar 5 beta 4, x64. Windows version is very nice - great compression and speed. But under RHEL 5.9, it has, in some cases, very strange malfunctions - not ready for prime time on that platform.
